The Tamron 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 DI III VC VXD Sony E-mount – photographic lens was developed in response to user feedback that ‘the angle of view of the initial focal length is not optimal’ when using a 70-300mm zoom lens. The Tamron 50-300mm therefore offers a standard focal length of 50mm, providing greater flexibility in photography. This 6x zoom lens is extremely compact, with a length of only 150 mm and a weight of only 665 g, making it one of the lightest in its class. Furthermore, the precise arrangement of the Tamron 50-300mm’s special elements (including two XLD and two LD elements) ensures effective aberration reduction and high image quality throughout the entire zoom range.

The autofocus is equipped with Tamron’s VXD linear motor. Thanks to this fast and high-precision autofocus system, it is possible to adjust the focus from the closest distance to infinity. Furthermore, the focus tracking is extremely precise. The Tamron 50-300mm is equipped with Tamron’s VC mechanism, which effectively reduces camera shake that can occur when shooting telephoto, close focusing or in low light.
