The Allen & Heath DX Link expansion card for dLive and Avantis is designed to expand your dLive or Avantis I/O system. Multiple DX Link boards can be installed in an Avantis or dLive system to scale system I/O to suit your needs. The board provides 4 DX Link ports, each carrying 32×32 channels of 96kHz audio, which can be used to connect to DX expansion units in parallel or redundant mode. Up to 128 remote inputs and 64 remote outputs can be added per DX Link module. In parallel mode, 1 DX32 or up to 2 DX168/DX012/DX164-W expanders can be connected to each DX Link port. In redundant mode, 1 expansion card of any type can be connected to each DX Link port pair using 2 redundant connection cables.
Integration with the Dante Network
Allen & Heath’s Dante cards allow seamless integration with the Dante audio network protocol, which enables the transmission of digital audio over standard IP networks. Due to their low latency and high audio quality, these cards are ideal for large audio installation systems where multiple audio channels need to be transported between different devices.
