Specifications

The Allen & Heath DM64 MixRack audio expander 64×32 I/O for dLive systems houses the XCVI processing core complete with audio I/O, control, and audio network ports. It is typically connected to a dLive Surface, but can also be controlled simultaneously or even without a Surface. The I/O levels and wide range of processing tools of the Allen & Heath dLive DM64 MixRack make it particularly suitable for large-scale mixing applications. The DM64’s powerful XCVI Core features six parallel mixing engines, providing enough power for 160 x 64 channels of 96kHz processing, consisting of 128 live inputs, a configurable 64-bus architecture and 16 stereo effects returns.

Allen & Heath DM64 MixRack features 36 parallel virtual processing cores, generating enough power for 160 x 64 channels of 96kHz processing, thanks to the robust XCVI Core. The XCVI Core’s six parallel mixing engines compute over 10,000 crossover points per sample and 25 billion operations per second. Its router uses FPGA technology, providing sufficient capacity for 3,000 x 3,000 audio paths. This allows for 128 full inputs and 16 stereo FX returns with full processing, a configurable 64-bus architecture, variable bit depth for excellent precision and noise performance, incredible headroom thanks to a 96-bit accumulator, and incredibly low latency of 0.58 ms.
