The Canon EOS R8 digital camera with RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is hybrid and lightweight for outstanding photos and video.It has a 24.2-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor, and is perfect for low-light portraits and landscape photography. Its larger full frame sensor offers a beautiful bokeh effect and sensational quality. The EOS R8 is great for hybrid content, thanks to high-quality 4K 60p video, oversampling from 6K, and its intuitive functions for professional use. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II identifies, recognizes and tracks subjects throughout the frame for maximum sharpness in photos and video. It also follows moving subjects, thanks to the 40 fps electronic shutter.Up to 4K/60p resolution, focus breathing compensation and Canon Log 3 color profile for professional color grading. Full HD footage can be shot at up to 180 fps for fantastic slow-motion effects. The EOS R8 with RF 24-50mm lens can shoot up to ISO 102,400 extendable to ISO 204,800. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II is sensitive down to -6.5 EV⁵, or about as much light as a half moon. The RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is an extremely portable and pleasant-to-use standard lens, offering 4.5-stop image stabilization and fast, nearly silent AF thanks to the STM focusing motor. It covers a wide 2x zoom range from wide-angle to standard, making the EOS R8 an excellent camera for landscape, travel and reportage photography. This ergonomic lens is compact when stored away, but is designed to be natural and intuitive while working.
