The Tiffen Multi Rota Tray is a kit that allows the use and rotation of a 138 mm circular polarizing filter and an optional, 4×5.65″ circular polarizer in a single holder.
The 138 mm circular kit is designed for use with matte boxes that do not have a rotating filter stage, or even if you need a secondary rotating filter stage in a non-rotating stage. The filter fits matte boxes that conform to the ARRI R2 standard.
In addition, the geared adjustment allows for precise control either by hand or with a 0.8 MOD sprocket on a follow focus.
The kit Tiffen Multi Rota Tray can be used with the included 138 mm circular polarizer, or paired with the optional 4×5.65″ circular polarizer to function as a variable neutral density filter or to produce hot/cold effects. Additionally, the kit is packaged in a sturdy, compartmentalized case for protection and easy transport.
