The Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD with Fujifilm X mount is a standard high maximum brightness zoom lens dedicated to Fujifilm X cameras. It was developed to offer the best possible balance between a wide zoom focal range and high image quality. With a focal length of 17-70mm (equivalent to 25.5-105mm in 35mm format), it is the world’s first interchangeable lens with 4.1x standard zoom range and F/2.8 brightness for APS-C cameras. The 17-70mm is equipped with the VC image stabilizer developed by Tamron. Minimum focusing distances of only 19 cm at the wide-angle end and 39 cm at the tele end enable striking close-up shots with soft background blurring. Portraits, landscapes or snapshots-this lens is perfect for capturing life’s most beautiful moments with strikingly detailed images. When shooting handheld, it ensures optimal sharpness by effectively compensating for unwanted camera movement. This means that you can make the most of the lens’ optical performance even when photographing at high shutter speeds, such as at twilight or indoors. When shooting video, VC technology uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide better image stabilization than conventional systems. Autofocus is based on an exceptionally quiet RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor. Autofocus operation is also very quiet, which ensures that no annoying focusing noise is recorded during video shooting.
