Discover a new level of creative freedom with the Tamron 17-50mm F/4 Di III VXD (Model A068), the world’s first zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras covering a focal range from ultra-wide angle (17mm) to standard (50mm). This unique range allows you to switch from vast landscapes to natural portraits without having to change lenses, making it the ideal companion for travel and street photography.

Designed for hybrid content creators, the lens maintains a constant aperture of F/4 and boasts an internal zoom mechanism. This means that the barrel does not extend during zooming, ensuring perfect balance, which is essential for shooting video with a gimbal. Focusing is handled by the VXD linear motor, which ensures lightning-fast, precise, and quiet autofocus, perfect for both photos and videos.

Despite its high performance, the Tamron 17-50mm f/4.0 remains incredibly compact and lightweight (only 460g). The minimum focusing distance of just 0.19m (at 17mm) allows for creative close-ups with blurred backgrounds and sharp details. Built to last, it offers a moisture-resistant construction and fluorine coating, as well as compatibility with TAMRON Lens Utility™ software for customizing functions in the field.
