Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD Sony E-mount – Photografic lens

The Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD Sony E mount is a flexible, wide-angle zoom lens that is a versatile zoom for full-frame Sony E mirrorless cameras. Covering focal lengths from ultra-wide-angle to wide, this lens is particularly well suited for landscape, astrophotography and architectural shots. Its bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture rounds out this range and allows for greater control over depth of field along with improved low-light performance.

The optical design incorporates both XLD and LD elements, which produce a highly corrected image with reduced chromatic aberrations and color fringing for improved color clarity and accuracy. The Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 also features Tamron’s BBAR coating, which suppresses flare and ghosting for increased contrast when working against the light. Also adding to the versatility, an RXD stepper motor enables fast, near-silent autofocus performance to suit photos and videos, along with a full-time manual focus override and a minimum focus distance of 7.5″.
