The dual ADC (analog-to-digital converter) captures a wide dynamic range—from the faintest sounds to the most intense ones—by converting the signal into 32-bit floating-point digital data. This reduces the need for precise gain adjustments during filming and increases flexibility in post-production. Sampling rates of up to 96 kHz allow you to capture frequencies above 20 kHz using microphones compatible with high-resolution audio.

The unit supports 4-channel audio input, with simultaneous multi-microphone recording on independent tracks and flexible CH1–CH4 assignment, as well as backup channels with separate gain settings. The control layout includes LOW CUT and ATT (attenuator) switches and manual gain knobs for each channel, with OL (overload) indicators for real-time monitoring.

The handle is equipped with three anti-rotation threaded holes for mounting accessories (external monitors, recorders, lights, wireless receivers) and an additional threaded hole for a cold-shoe mount. The unit is made from recycled plastics, which account for more than 41% of the main unit’s weight.
