The widespread 28-70 mm zoom range covers a range of uses, from portraits and landscapes to travel photography. Image stabilization with built-in optical SteadyShot ensures sharp, sharp images. Aspherical lens technology optimizes portability without sacrificing performance. This lens combines three aspherical elements with an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element to deliver high-precision shots and stunning renderings, without the bulky design typical of DSLR lenses. The lens’ 7-blade design keeps the aperture almost perfectly circular throughout the entire F-stop range. This allows for smoother, more natural blurs, including artistic or “bokeh,” as well as greater control over depth of field.
