The Sony FE 28-60 mm F4-5.6 with Sony E-mount – photographic lens is a long normal wide-angle zoom lens characterised by its retractable design and sleek profile. Its slim design makes this lens ideal for everyday shooting, while its flexible focal length range suits a wide range of subjects, from street shots to portraits to travel photography. Three aspherical elements help reduce spherical aberrations and distortion throughout the zoom range for improved sharpness and accurate rendition. The use of specialised elements also contributes to a smaller and lighter physical design. The linear motor, together with the internal focusing mechanism, promotes fast, accurate and silent focusing, suitable for both stills and video applications. In addition to the variety offered by the 28-60 mm focal length range, this lens also has a versatile minimum focusing distance of 11.8″, allowing it to work with close subjects. The rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
