The Sony ALC-SH172 lens hood for FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G lens helps keep the lens clean, reducing the risk of fingerprints or dust on the front surface. Its petal shape is designed to maximise its effectiveness in blocking side light without obstructing the lens’ field of view. Specifically designed to reduce unwanted reflections and flare caused by incident light, ensuring sharper images with superior contrast. Made of robust yet lightweight material, the ALC-SH172 mounts easily onto the lens and offers additional protection against shocks, scratches and other potential damage. It features a bayonet mounting mechanism that allows for quick and secure installation and removal. In addition, it can be mounted in the reverse position for more compact transport when not in use. The hood’s internal matt finish further helps to reduce internal reflections, ensuring that image quality remains at the highest possible level. It is therefore a must-have accessory for photographers who want to get the most out of their photos, especially in difficult lighting conditions. It is also a valuable investment to protect your FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G lens and ensure high quality results, as it allows for sharp shots free of optical artefacts.
