SmallRig 3948 half cage for OM System OM-1 allows the mounting of accessories and the protection of the SYSTEM OM-1, Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II or Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III camera. The camera mounts on this aluminium half-cage with an integrated 1/4″-20 screw and the silicone padding prevents twisting and scratching. The system maintains full access to the camera’s controls and grip and offers a range of mounting options.
Accessory mounting options include integrated shoe mounts, a NATO rail, multiple 1/4″-20 threads and ARRI-style 3/8″-16 twist-resistant accessory threads. The base of the SmallRig 3948 cage features an integrated ARRI-style plate that allows the camera to be mounted on a fluid head or gimbal. A screwdriver is located on the bottom via a magnet to tighten the camera screw.
