The Sennheiser MD 421 II cardioid dynamic microphone for bass drum, drums, woodwinds, piano and choirs is one of the world’s best-known dynamic microphones. Its excellent sound qualities enable it to be the ideal working tool in the most diverse recording conditions and for interviewers. The MD 421 II is equipped with a 5-position bass adjuster, so as to ensure optimum adaptation to the environment in which it is used. In addition, the special design of this device makes it perfectly shielded from unwanted contact noises, such as those caused by moving a cable or handling the microphone itself. The frequency response, always smooth and linear, ranges from 30 Hz to 17 kHz, and the high frequencies are slightly boosted to improve clarity.
