Sennheiser EW-D ME2 SET (Q1-6) Digital Wireless System

The Sennheiser EW-D ME2 SET (Q1-6) Digital Wireless System is a fully digital wireless system in the UHF domain (470.2–526 MHz), designed for professional voice transmission. The system utilises a bandwidth of 56 MHz, supports up to 2,240 selectable frequencies in an equidistant tuning grid (600 kHz spacing), allowing the simultaneous use of up to 90 channels without intermodulation.

On the audio front, the system offers an extremely wide dynamic range of 134 dB, 24-bit digital audio with a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and ultra-low latency of just 1.9 ms — features that guarantee excellent fidelity and real-time performance, even in fast-paced speech environments. The ME2 lavalier microphone, with pre-polarised condenser and omnidirectional polar pattern, is optimised for speech intelligibility and pairs perfectly with the robust EW-DSK bodypack transmitter with metal body, IP rating and mute button.
The EW‑D EM receiver, a half-rack type, features a high-contrast OLED display, auto-scan functions, balanced XLR and unbalanced jack connections, as well as two removable BNC antennas and rack-mounting capability.

The system can be managed easily and intuitively via the Smart Assist app (Bluetooth Low Energy), allowing automatic configuration, battery level monitoring, channel assignment and interference protection — all without the need for in-depth RF knowledge.
Finally, the transmitter’s battery life with two AA batteries is approximately 8 hours, extendable to 12 hours with an optional lithium battery.
