Samson Q8x dynamic supercardioid handheld microphone is suitable for the stage, as it tends to collect only the sound directly in front of the capsule. In this way, feedback from other sound reinforcement equipment can be greatly reduced. However, it can also be used for recording sessions.
The Samson Q8x dynamic supercardioid handheld microphone’s frequency response extends from 50 Hz to 16 kHz, and has been optimized to match vocals, with a roll off in the bass to reduce clutter and a lift in the mids to improve clarity. Infact, you’ll notice for example the bump at 8 kHz, which helps improve vocals and provide presence.
Enclosed in a pneumatic damper, the diaphragm is quite safe from handling noise. A steel grille helps reinforce microphone reliability. A sturdy zinc alloy die-cast housing has been employed to ensure durability over the years. Additionally included you will find a microphone clip and a zippered case.
