It offers rich, full-bodied sound and features an XLR and USB output for connection to an audio interface or mixer as a classic broadcast microphone, or directly to a computer for plug-and-play recording. The USB digital output features Rode’s ultra-low noise, high gain Revolution Preamp and powerful APHEX digital signal processing to easily capture studio-quality sound.
The PodMic USB is also fully compatible with iOS and Android, offering a portable high-quality solution. This microphone allows you to capture rich, broadcast-quality audio in any scenario, whether in a recording studio connected to an analogue mixer or directly to your computer, or it can be connected to your smartphone for a ‘grab-and-go’ recording rig.
Equipped with a high-power neodymium capsule, the PodMic USB delivers warm, detailed audio with incredible clarity, making it outstanding in vocal applications. It features an internal pop filter to minimise occlusive consonants, an internal shock mount to reduce vibration, and a studio-quality external pop filter to ensure crisp, clean audio at all times.
