The Profoto Softbox 5′ Octa Silver is a 5-foot octagonal light modifier, measuring 152.4 cm in diameter, designed for those working with Profoto flashes and LED lights with a 100 mm head. The Profoto 150 cm octagonal softbox produces a wide, soft light and, thanks to its Octa shape, generates circular catchlights in the subject’s eyes, a useful feature for portraits, fashion, beauty, and interviews.

Setup is simplified by the all-in-one design with an integrated speedring: the softbox opens and closes with a fold/unfold solution and attaches to the light source with the classic Profoto clamp mount, without the need to assemble a separate ring. The silver interior increases light efficiency and contrast, while the removable and interchangeable diffuser allows for adjusting light softness and intensity. The recessed front distributes light evenly and is heat-resistant, while optional light control accessories attach to the softbox with hook-and-loop fasteners.

The structure is reinforced for large-scale sets and includes enhanced Velcro attachments and safety cable rings. Available as Profoto 5′ Octa silver with code 201803, this silver interior octagonal softbox is a solution for those seeking a large light source with quick setup.
