Profoto Frosted -300K Glass Dome for Flat Front flash is a dome-shaped frosted glass cover for B1, B1X, D1 and D2. The dome shape combined with the frosted surface increases light diffusion compared to the standard frosted glass cover. Choose from optional covers for warmer or cooler light.
Please note that the Glass Cover for Flat Front is not compatible with the B2.
Profoto Glass Dome lowers (warms) the colour temperature of the emitted light by 300K. It is similar to using an 81A filter on a camera lens. Use it if the colour temperature is too blue for your preferences or the requirements of the assignment. The dome also diffuses the flash output, widening the spread of the light beam. It snaps onto the flash tube assembly.
