Profoto 201702 Beauty Dish Silver 60 cm for Flat-Front Lights

The Profoto Beauty Dish Silver 201702 is a collapsible beauty dish for portraits and fashion photography, with a 60 cm (24″) front diameter and silver interior. The circular front rim produces round catchlights in the subject’s eyes, while the included convex deflector distributes light outward across the dish. The all-in-one design integrates the Speed ring: mounting and removal are quick both in-studio and on location, and the fabric construction folds down for transport in the included soft carrying bag. The Profoto silver beauty dish offers more contrast than the white version, which delivers softer, more even light. Applications indicated by the manufacturer include beauty head shots and on-location portraiture. The product is designed for Profoto flat-front lights—those with a flush front surface—and is not compatible with protruding heads such as ProHead. Folded, it measures 62.5 x 20 x 9 cm and weighs 1.42 kg, useful figures for those working on location and transporting multiple modifiers. No dedicated diffusers or grids are offered, as the dish is optimized for use solely with flat-front lights.
