The OM System M.Zuiko 9-18mm F4.0-5.6 II – photographic lens is made for enthusiasts of adventure landscapes, architecture, nature and travel. With its ultra-compact, lightweight design and exceptional portability, thanks to the Dual Super Aspherical (DSA) lens, available only with the Four Thirds System, this lens will make super-wide-angle photography more friendly and accessible. Despite its compact size, this lens boasts a high focal range equivalent to that of an 18-36 mm 35mm format lens.
The lens is an excellent alternative to previous models of ultra-wide-angle and very expensive zoom lenses. The combination of the double-sided aspherical lens, ED lens, and HR lens helps minimize distortion and aberrations. The lens hood will help prevent strong or diffuse side light from causing unwanted ghosting aberrations.
