A perfect tele-macro choice: take advantage of the 1.3m shooting distance across the entire zoom range, with 0.57x magnification (35mm equivalent). Four easy-access controls, including focus limiter, AF/MF, image stabilization and zoom lock, make handheld shooting a breeze. Sophisticated stabilization works with any camera body to help compensate for hand shake and produce sharp shots from any angle. There are 21 elements in 15 groups with 4 ED lenses to control color smearing.
Construction with ED and Super ED elements
The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS offers excellent optical quality, thanks to its construction with ED and Super ED elements, which reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions. Integrated IS stabilization ensures sharp images even at long focal lengths. The compact design and fast autofocus make it ideal for sports and wildlife photography.
