Compared to conventional light sources, Evoke 2400B requires no preheating or cooling time, is flicker-free, with 0.0%-100.0% dimming and adjustable color temperature for greater flexibility. Changes during shooting sessions are now easy and time-saving.
This LED light features a green and magenta color adjustment function in Evoke 2400B, so that throughout the adjustment process the color temperature is always on the Planck curve, solving green and magenta problems. In addition to G/M auto-calibration, Evoke 2400B G/M adjustment function does not stop there: the extra G/M±80 △uv range across the entire CCT range offers creators a new dimension of creativity. It can be used to match different light sources from other manufacturers’ sets or fixtures, facilitating post-production.
Evoke 2400B continues to use the robust and durable metal construction of the Evoke family with an IP55 rating for both the lamp body and the ballast.
With a 100% increase in power rating over the Evoke 1200B, the power supply of the Evoke 2400B weighs only 1 kg more than its predecessor.The unit has four buttons, three knobs and a 3.5-inch LCD screen. The brightness of the Evoke 2400B can be adjusted in 0.1 percent increments.The projector body is equipped with a 5-pin XLR port to support DMX/RDM control through a wired connection to a control console, ensuring stable communication.
Evoke 2400B is equipped with a next-generation adjustable cooling system that includes four ventilation modes: SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED and OFF, to simultaneously meet different shooting and audio recording needs. This new system, which focuses on both heat dissipation and noise attenuation, is beneficial for all productions and, in particular, for filming such as interviews.
With the new electronic contacts on the NL mount, the Evoke 2400B is still compatible with all existing NL mount softboxes and many other accessories. The modifier recognition function is enabled by these electronic contacts and tells the Evoke 2400B which modifier is in use.Therefore, when using accessories with NL-mounted electronic contacts, safety is ensured and equipment and accessories are protected from damage due to rather high heat levels.
