Specifications
Nanlite SB-AS-110X45 asymmetrical 110×45 softbox with Bowens-mount measures 110 x 45 x 35 cm. The light source is placed one-third of the way up its back, simulating the shadow effects of natural light, and then achieving gradually modified highlights and shadows. Designed to illuminate a strip of the subject while limiting light dispersion, this softbox also features an asymmetrical wedge-shaped design that results in a pleasant feathery light fall on one side. It is particularly suitable for witness interviews and portraiture. The wedge shape of the SB-AS-110X45 softbox also lends itself well to working in cramped places where space is limited because it takes up less space than traditional softboxes. Created to be compatible with Forza and larger Nanlite FS series LEDs, this softbox includes a Bowens-Style Speed Ring. This nearly universal light modifier attachment expands compatibility to a wide range of LEDs, strobes and constant light sources. For additional light dispersion control and directionality, an optional fabric grille can be mounted via press studs. The fabric grid (sold separately) narrows the beam angle to 50 degrees and focuses the beam forward.
