Libec MPC-1 multi-protocol converter for LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio, and LX-ePed PRO

Libec MPC-1 multi-protocol converter for LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio and LX-ePed PRO, enables control of electric pedestals via PTZ controller and via the original PC application, LX-ePed PC APP, offering a wide range of optional settings. With support for IP connectivity, the system also enables remote operations, making Libec pedestals even more versatile and suitable for a variety of shooting scenarios. The MPC-1 supports the following Internet protocols: XC (Canon), VISCA over IP (SONY), AW (Panasonic). This smart device allows LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio, and LX-ePed PRO to be connected to IP over closed and secure networks, such as a VPN, for remote operations. IP-compatible PTZ controllers can raise/lower connected electric pedestals with the joystick.
The MPC-1 supports the following serial communications: NU (Canon), VISCA (SONY), AW (Panasonic). Compatible PTZ controllers can raise/lower the top column of the electric pedestal connected with the joystick. The dedicated PC application “LX-ePed PC APP” provides additional optional settings, including upper column speed adjustment and presetting of precise positions. For serial communication, directly connect the MPC-1 to a PC via a USB cable. For IP communication, connect the MPC-1 to the Internet via a LAN cable.
Because the MPC-1 is equipped with an LCD monitor and user-friendly buttons, the various settings can be completed only with the MPC-1, without using a computer or other devices. The setup page is simple and smart, allowing quick transition between protocols. The MPC-1 is specifically designed to have a specific power source, not to be powered by the electrical pedestals. This is because a separate power source will provide a constant voltage to the MPC-1, ensuring a strong and stable connection.
