Laowa Venus Optics 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift Canon EF-mount – photographic lens is an ideal lens for architectural and interior photography. Offered in this case with a Canon EF mount, the lens’ wide 94° angle of view is complemented by an impressive +/- 11 mm excursion to compensate for unwanted converging lines and trapezoidal distortion. In addition, being part of the Zero-D lens series, this lens renders scenes with a high degree of precision and very low distortion.
In terms of optics, there are two aspherical and three ultra-low dispersion elements, which reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. A “frog-eye” water-repellent coating also protects the front lens element from water droplets and moisture. The lens uses a manual focus design for working with subjects up to 9.8″ away and features a fourteen-blade diaphragm to produce smooth, circular bokeh, as well as specular reflections when stop-down and photographing point light sources.
