While the longer leg levels the stand and the spring-loaded positioning pin is engaged, the middle leg remains firmly in place, minimizing the possibility of the stand tipping over in the event of an accidental bump while ensuring strength and safety.

The KCP-200B grip head consists of a pair of rotating aluminum discs connected to a 5/8″ (16 mm) female coupling. The discs have four V-shaped jaws of different sizes to accept any 5/8″, 1/2″, 3/8″ or 1/4″ mounting pin or tube attachment. The V-shaped clamps have teeth that firmly grip whatever is mounted between the plates.
