Hollyland Lark C1 Solo receiver and wireless transmitter microphone for iPhone – Black is an ultracompact wireless microphone system consisting of a transmitter based on 2.4 GHz wireless technology with active noise cancellation and a receiver, which connects to the iPhone so that the received audio can be monitored and recorded in high quality 16-bit / 48 kHz on mobile devices. With a range of up to 200 m as the crow flies, the Lark C1 SOLO offers a wide range of features, enhanced by the versatility of the dedicated LarkSound App and a transmitter battery life of up to 8 hours for an unprecedented all-day recording experience. The transmitter measures only 48 x 21.5 x 10 mm and weighs 11.5 g. This unique form factor allows the TX to be clipped discreetly onto a shirt collar or jacket lapel, just as if it were a lavalier microphone, but avoiding the need to run the cable directly to the bodypack. Comfortable to wear and durable, the TX in fact also incorporates the microphone, which features an omnidirectional polar pattern and provides a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Apart from the power button, there is only one button on the body of the transmitter, which performs a dual function: pairing with the receiver and activating Noise Cancellation.
In fact, Lark C1 SOLO adopts an active noise cancellation system based on Hollyland’s advanced proprietary sound processing technologies. Enhanced acoustic algorithms help suppress unwanted ambient noise to return crisp sound under all circumstances. Charging of the transmitter is via USB-C port. The plug & play receiver, common to all Hollyland Lark C1 kits, plugs directly into the respective Lightning or USB-C ports on your iPhone and is immediately ready to use. Audio is recorded directly to the mobile device via an App that must be installed and allows you to control various operating parameters: view the TX battery percentage, adjust the amount of noise cancellation, control the recording volume, etc. Real-time audio playback on the cell phone speaker occurs without the need to disconnect the RX from it, thus achieving immediate monitoring of audio quality. Compact in size (48.3 X 27.6 X 9 mm) and very light (7 g), this receiver is powered directly by the mobile device to which it is connected, so it has no internal battery, and is equipped with only the pairing button for pairing with the transmitter (which takes about 6 s) and the USB-C pass – thru socket for charging the smartphone.
