The Godox SK400II 5600K 400WS studio flash are characterized by the flash power adjustment range of up to 4 aperture stops (1/1 – 1/16, with 0.1 EV accuracy). Flash charging time at full flash power is less than 2 seconds. At minimum power they achieve a very short flash duration of only 1/2000s (t = 0.1), which gives a lot of freedom during photo sessions. The flash color temperature is 5600K and can fluctuate ± 200K depending on the flash power setting. The flash unit is equipped with a pilot lamp, 150W, which is adjustable. It can be set proportionally to the flash power (for better pre-visualization of final effects), fixed from 5% to 100% power, or simply turned off.
The built-in X System receiver makes it possible to trigger the flash remotely or to change the flash power or mode using a Godox X transmitter, without the need to purchase additional equipment. In addition, the Godox in the SK line has a USB port for connecting XT16, FT-16 or X1 TTL system receivers. You can also connect it to triggers of other brands through the 3.5 mm jack input port. The panel located at the rear of the flash unit is very simple, readable and functional. The LCD screen on which the flash settings are displayed is also readable from a rather large angle. Next to the screen is a handy knob for adjusting flash power, changing the radio communication channel, and changing flash groups. The set of five buttons below the LCD screen provides quick access to all flash settings and functions. The Bowens mount allows the use of a variety of light modifiers (reflectors, softboxes, snoots, beauty dishes and others) for light control and shaping in almost any creative application or vision.
