Eizo FlexScan EV2430 24.1″ monitor with anti-reflection and Auto-EcoView for office – light gray, boasts a triple winning combination: high resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, maximum contrast ratio of 1000:1 and stable brightness up to maximum values of 300 cd/m². Contours are distinct, graphics brilliant, images detailed and sharp. Thanks to the panel with IPS technology with LED backlighting, chromaticity and brightness remain stable from any perspective. A picture is only perfect if the colors are too. EIZO’s monitors have a color table (LUT) of at least 10 bits. This allows color information to be assigned more precisely and accurately than in a monitor with an 8-bit color table. Transitions will be very fine and the range of colors available will be much wider. In addition, a custom setting of, for example, the white point from 4000 to 10 000 Kelvin (K) in 500 K steps can also be made without loss of quality.
Fast, ultra-fast overdrive. The overdrive function speeds up response times so that gray-to-gray transitions occur in an average of 14 ms. Movie viewing will be smoother and without wake or lag effects. Day or night, dark or light, it makes no difference to the Auto EcoView feature when you’re working because it constantly senses the surrounding light conditions, adjusting the brightness of the screen fully automatically. The result is optimal viewing without glare and reflections that strain the eyes. Another plus point is that auto-brightness control saves up to 50 percent energy compared to a monitor that lacks it and uses pre-set brightness levels. Of course, you can also set your monitor manually. The EcoView function gives you a handy diagram representing the degree of eco-friendliness of the currently set parameters.
To reduce eye fatigue , EIZO has developed a hybrid technology to control monitor backlighting that combines the advantages of PWM (pulse width modulation) technology with those of DC (direct current) control. PWM management takes advantage of much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: consistently sharp, high-quality images and maximum color stability. The advantage: perfect glare-free viewing. Thanks to DC management, it is also possible to lower the brightness level in dark environments to 1%. EIZO FlexScan monitors are certified by TÜV Rheinland for reduced blue light emissions. The EV2430’s anti-glare treatment minimizes annoying glare and reflections, returning extremely sharp content–without hunched shoulders, strained necks and stiff arms in front of the monitor–for comfortable and efficient work.
Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand can be tilted, swiveled, and height-adjusted to maintain proper posture in the office, an important aid against back and neck muscle tension. The comfortable pedestal can be lowered to the base of the stand so that the top edge of the screen can be ergonomically positioned below eye level. Nothing could be easier: you can connect most devices such as a PC, laptop, mouse, keyboard or headset directly to the monitor. The EV2430 has several signal and connection interfaces that reduces clutter on the desk and allows you to work in a neater environment. Preset color modes optimize the viewing of images, text or movies-whether you are watching a movie, editing a photo, surfing the web or writing text the difference is there and you can see it. At the touch of a button, you set the respective preset for brightness, gamma correction and color temperature. For example, Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed paper that is more comfortable for the eyes while reading and prevents eye fatigue. In order to better manage daily power saving, the monitor has a practical and effective power switch that improves energy efficiency: when turned off, consumption will be zero.
