With a wide f/2.8 aperture over the full zoom range, incredible sharpness from internal elements, a 5.5-stop Image Stabilizer and L-series weather resistance, this Canon telephoto zoom lens sets new standards and is ideal for indoor sports, reportage and wildlife photography.
An aspherical lens, unusual in a super telephoto lens, works in synergy with UD and fluorite elements to deliver incredible detail and a reduction in chromatic aberration and ghosting and flare effects. A 9-blade aperture allows for perfect rendition of highlights and out-of-focus areas, while a minimum focusing distance of 1.8 m allows for the capture of close details at any focal length. The lens Canon RF 100-300mm lens is capable of operating in any conditions, thanks to its advanced outdoor resistance, shock resistance and white heat-insulating paint. You can also increase the range of the lens to 200-600mm f/5.6 with the 2x RF extender, or to 140-420mm f/4 with the 1.4x RF extender without sacrificing focusing speed or durability.
