The Canon EOS R6 Mark II mirrorless digital camera is a combination of performance and image quality. Shooting 4K 60p with full-width oversampling is simply incredible. Intuitive features such as intelligent AF and powerful image stabilizer make it easy to achieve professional results. Our new generation of AI-powered autofocus with deep learning technology delivers even better performance, 80% faster than the original EOS R6. EOS R6 Mark II recognizes and tracks more subjects with further improved speed, reliability and accuracy. The Canon EOS R6 Mark II mirrorless digital camera finds even more subjects, including: people, cats, dogs, horses, birds (even in flight), cars, motorcycles, trains, and planes. It adapts when the subject moves, reacting to changes in speed, direction and pose. Even when you have difficulty seeing, the EOS R6 Mark II focuses quickly and accurately. The camera focuses confidently with illumination as low as -6.5 EV1, less than the light of a half moon. The EOS R6 Mark II achieves 40 fps with the electronic shutter and 12 fps with the mechanical shutter. In RAW Continuous Shot mode at 30 fps9, the pre-shutter allows you to capture moments that have happened up to 0.5 seconds before the button is pressed. The EOS R6 Mark II’s built-in image stabilizer works seamlessly with the optical IS of many Canon lenses. The result is up to 8 stops of protection against camera shake when taking handheld photos.
It takes long exposure handheld photos, intentionally blurring moving subjects and keeping everything else sharp, all without having to use a tripod. The EOS R6 Mark II’s image stabilization recognizes more types of camera movement than other models. When shooting video, the IBIS and optical IS systems are aided by Movie Digital IS to achieve footage that looks like it was shot professionally with a gimbal. By activating the “Detect only” option of the EOS R6 Mark II’s AF, the camera will not refocus the background if the subject leaves the frame. This is a function inspired by the Cinema EOS C70 camera, which mimics professional manual focusing for cinematic results. For maximum flexibility and image quality, shoot ProRes RAW 6K video using an external ATOMOS V+ recorder. Footage has a wider dynamic range and it is easier to perform color grading. The higher resolution allows you to crop while maintaining 4K quality. The EOS R6 Mark II’s 24.2-megapixel sensor offers an ideal balance of speed, image quality and low-light performance. The ability to focus in dark conditions of -6.5 EV (less than the light of a half moon) is complemented by a maximum ISO 102,400 sensitivity and an image stabilizer effective up to 8 stops.

An Air Sphere Coating has also been applied to suppress flare and ghosting when working in strong lighting conditions. Balancing the distinguished optical assets is the Nano USM focus system, which delivers fast, nearly silent autofocus performance with full-time manual focus override. An Image Stabilizer also compensates for up to five stops of camera shake to help produce sharper handheld shots in difficult lighting conditions. A unique Control Ring is also integrated into the lens design for intuitive control over exposure settings from the lens itself. Additionally, this Canon 24-70mm F2.8 is weather-sealed and has a fluorine coating to protect the front and rear elements.
