Canon CN-E 135mm T2.2 FP X Sumire Prime with PL-mount – lens with metric scale in meters is a manual focus cinema lens that covers full frame and Super 35 formats with centre to edge resolution that supports 4K production. It features a PL mount and standing focus scales. The Sumire lens series is designed with the aim of creating pleasing facial close-ups for all ages, genders and ethnicities. This effect increases as the lens approaches its maximum aperture. The 135 mm offers a maximum T-stop of 2.2 and features an 11-blade iris that provides natural, out-of-focus highlights for pleasing bokeh. The lens barrel features a smooth 300° rotation from close focus to infinity, ensuring a high degree of precision and constant focus. The lens is designed to minimise focus breathing. It offers focus distance markings on both sides of the barrel, with the rear markings on an angled surface, making them readable from both sides of the camera. Some of the markings are made with phosphorescent paint, making them easy to see in low light conditions. All lenses in the Sumire series have the same front barrel diameter of 114 mm, the same focus rotation, and the same focus and diaphragm gear positions, for easy lens replacement.
