The “blimp” shape and sound-absorbing material help to minimize wind interference, allowing for clearer and more precise audio recording. In addition, the shield provides effective isolation from shock and vibration, minimizing unwanted noise caused by the microphone moving or accidental contact.
For installation, the Shield E-image BS-M20 features a 3/8″-16 threaded mount that is compatible with most standard boompoles, making it easy to set up and maintain stability while shooting. The ergonomic design and lightweight design make it easy to handle and carry, without compromising recording quality.
