Designed to integrate seamlessly with the URSA Cine ecosystem, the Blackmagic URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder transforms the digital camera into a complete studio system. The 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display returns detailed images at a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The panel’s distinct 2000-nit brightness and the presence of a folding, removable sunshade ensure clear visibility of shots and interface menus both indoors and in brightly lit outdoors.

The operational setup of the Blackmagic URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder is extremely simplified: a single USB-C connection takes care of conveying video signal, metadata, Blackmagic OS system control, and power supply, minimizing cable clutter on the set. In addition to the touchscreen interface full of overlays for monitoring, the unit has physical side knobs intended for quick adjustment of brightness, contrast and focus peaking, flanked by three function buttons (F1, F2, F3) that can be assigned as desired. The structure includes large orientation handles and a bracket articulated on a quick-release V-Lock mount, which releases the monitor’s movements from those of the camera body. A front LED Tally light, essential for providing recording feedback to the talent during airing, completes the equipment.
