The PL mounting system, standard in the professional film industry, provides a solid and reliable connection between lens and camera body, thanks to the bayonet locking mechanism that eliminates unwanted play and movement during shooting. This adapter maintains perfect optical alignment, ensuring maximum image quality and enabling the full performance of the URSA sensor, especially in terms of resolution, dynamic range and color fidelity.

The PL adapter supports the transmission of electronic signals needed to control some functions of modern lenses, such as aperture, when available. It is compatible with a wide range of PL lenses used in film productions, commercials and documentaries, offering a versatile and professional solution for filmmakers and operators.

In summary, the PL mount adapter for Blackmagic URSA Cine is a must-have accessory for those who wish to combine the flexibility and optical quality of PL systems with the exceptional technology of Blackmagic cameras.
