The Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K 100G is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding cinematographers. The RGBW sensor was developed with equal-sized photosites for the red, green, and blue channels, but includes white pixels to extend sensitivity and dynamic range. The built-in OLPF filter is custom-designed for the 12K sensor, reducing aliasing and moiré artifacts while maintaining extreme sharpness.

The inclusion of the 8TB Blackmagic Media Module eliminates the need for expensive and less reliable external media, providing consistent write speeds for the Blackmagic RAW format at maximum resolution. Versatility is provided by the interchangeable lens mount (LF supplied as standard) and independent 12G-SDI outputs for directing and monitoring. The camera is complemented by a silent active cooling system that allows for prolonged use even in hot environments.
