Blackmagic Cloud Store 80TB is a highly fast and large storage solution designed for large media files used in Hollywood movies. Thanks to advanced flash storage, it admits numerous users at the same time. It is also very easy to set up. With Dropbox Live Sync, files can be distributed among multiple drives globally for very fast local file access, even over low-cost Internet connections. Unlike SAN systems, you don’t need IT consultants and there are no subscription costs. There is also an HDMI monitor output with real-time storage status. Blackmagic Cloud Store is the perfect network storage solution for any use. It is perfect for film and television where large media files need to be shared between multiple users for editing, colour correction, audio post and visual effects work. It also handles huge 12K Blackmagic RAW digital film files. Each user gets zero latency and does not need to store files on their local computer. It is the perfect solution for DaVinci Resolve. Dropbox synchronisation allows multiple disks in different locations to be synchronised globally. So each location has the fastest possible editing experience. This is crucial for multicam editing where multiple media files are played simultaneously. Unlike IT industry storage products that are rack-mounted and have noisy cooling fans, Blackmagic Cloud Store 80TB is in a sleek upright design that is portable and quiet. Internally, it has an array of flash memory cards that work in parallel for speed and data protection. The four 10G Ethernet ports work as a switch to connect four separate computers, or work together for 40G Ethernet speed. There is also an HDMI monitoring output so you can watch a live graphic view of the memory running on a TV or monitor.
