The Allen & Heath CQ-18T compact digital audio mixer 18×8 I/O with Wi-Fi is the largest desktop mixer in the CQ range and is ideal for bands, rehearsal rooms, home recording and streaming, vocal and corporate AV applications. Local analog inputs use balanced XLR sockets and a minimum of 8 combi sockets (TRS/XLR) connect to fully recallable digitally controlled preamplifiers. These are capable of providing industry-standard 48 V phantom power. Local analog outputs are provided on XLR sockets or balanced 1/4″ inch TRS jacks with a nominal line output of +4dBu and a maximum output of +22dBu. All input and output processing, routing options, and system configuration are accessible and adjustable via a 7-inch color touchscreen and dedicated rotary control. The Allen & Heath CQ-18T mixer can automatically detect input level and adjust preamp gain on multiple channels, as well as monitor input level during use and reduce preamp gain. The mixer has Bluetooth connectivity with easy pairing to third-party devices for high-quality stereo playback of music on a dedicated stereo channel. It also has a switchable 12 V DC power input and must be powered by an external world power supply. Control software is provided for control from tablet, phone, and computer. In addition to a full control application for the Allen & Heath CQ-18T mixer, there is a mobile application for personal monitoring, compatible with iOS and Android phones. The mixer features Bluetooth connectivity with easy pairing to third-party devices for high-quality stereo music playback and has a 12 VDC power input with a switch.
