Add to cartThe Allen & Heath CQ-12T ultra-compact digital audio mixer 12×8 I/O is the smallest mixer in the CQ range and is ideal for home recording and streaming, band rehearsals, small gigs, and vocal applications. This ultra-compact mixer is designed to be operated locally using its touchscreen and physical controls or through connection to a wired or wireless network. The mixer has 96kHz processing, 10 mono input channels and 3 stereo channels that mix to LR and 6 auxiliary outputs. Local analog inputs use balanced XLR sockets and a minimum of 5 combi sockets (TRS/XLR) and connect to digitally controlled preamplifiers. These are capable of providing industry-standard 48 V phantom power. Local analog outputs are provided on XLR sockets and balanced 1/4|inch TRS jacks with a nominal line output of +4dBu and a maximum output of +22dBu.
All input and output processing, routing options, and system configuration are accessible and adjustable via a 7-inch color touchscreen and a dedicated rotary control. All input channels contain the following processing: Polarity, high-pass filter, gate, parametric equalizer, compressor and pan. All output mixing channels contain the following processing: selectable graphical/parametric EQ, Compressor and Delay. Channel processing also includes simplified, source-optimized presets to speed setup and improve performance for less experienced operators. The Allen & Heath CQ-12T mixer can automatically detect input level and adjust preamp gain on multiple channels. An automatic microphone mixer is provided for automatic and dynamic adjustment of input levels. A USB-B connection conforming to the USB 2.0 standard must be provided for stereo or multichannel, two-way audio streaming between the mixer and a computer. The mixer has a 12V DC power input with a switch and is powered by an external world power supply. The recommended operating temperature for the mixer is between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius.
