The Nanlite AS-DD-FMM Diffusion Dome is a light modifier that attaches to the front rim of the Nanlite RF-FMM-45 reflector to soften the output of FM-mount LED spotlights. The RF-FMM-45 reflector, used alone, intensifies the beam and produces a harder light; with the dome mounted, the light is softer and shadows are more gradual.

According to Nanlite, the RF-FMM-45 reflector is supplied with the FC-120B, FC-120C, and Forza 150B lights, for which the Nanlite Diffusion Dome is listed as a dedicated accessory. The RF-FMM-45 reflector features a 45-degree beam angle and FM Mount, a standard shared by Nanlite Forza 60, Forza 60B, Forza 60C, Forza 150, Forza 150B, and FS-60B lights. The Diffusion Dome can also be used with other Nanlite lights equipped with an FM mount, such as the Forza 60C, FS-60B, and FC-60B, provided the RF-FMM-45 reflector is mounted (purchased separately in this case).

This diffuser for FM LED lights is designed for those working with compact Nanlite spotlights who want to achieve a softer output from the 45-degree reflector. Used as an FM Mount diffusion dome, this modifier completes the Nanlite FM-mount accessory system. At Martcom, you can buy the Nanlite AS-DD-FMM together with the RF-FMM-45 reflector if it is not already included with your light.
