Profoto 201821 Softgrid 50° Octa 5′ for Softbox

The Profoto Softgrid 5 Octa, code 201821, is a fabric cell grid designed for the Profoto Octa 5′ Softbox. It attaches with velcro to the recessed front of the softbox and limits light output to 50°, producing a more directional beam and reducing spill on background and surrounding environment. The Profoto Softgrid 5 Octa 50° is designed for large-diameter softboxes, where a tighter beam helps avoid illuminating background and nearby surfaces. Narrowing the emission angle increases image contrast and allows for more precise light control, adjusting direction without replacing the softbox. The Profoto 201821 softgrid has a 150 cm diameter, mounts and removes quickly, and stores in the supplied labeled soft case, convenient for transport. The 50° softgrid for octa softbox must be paired with a Profoto Octa 5′ softbox: it is not compatible with RFi, OCF, and Clic range softboxes. The high-quality fabric and hook-and-loop mounting make it a lightweight accessory to add to the modifier in your lighting kit, without adding rigid structures to the softbox. All compatible Profoto softboxes feature a recessed front that allows attachment. Buy Profoto Softgrid 5 Octa at Martcom.
