Profoto 201701 Beauty Dish White 60 cm for Flat Front Lights

The Profoto Beauty Dish White is a 60 cm light modifier designed to create the classic beauty light—soft yet well-defined—in portrait and fashion photography. The Profoto 201701 Beauty Dish White product code identifies the white-interior version, which delivers softer, slightly more even light compared to the silver version, which is more incisive and contrasty. This is a collapsible beauty dish flat front with integrated speedring and all-in-one mounting, allowing for quick setup and breakdown and use both in-studio and on location. The circular front edge generates round, natural catchlights in the subject’s eyes and reproduces the lighting characteristics of the classic Profoto Softlight Reflector in a compact, portable format. Profoto Beauty Dish 60 cm is made of fabric and includes a convex deflector and a soft carrying bag. It is compatible only with Profoto flat front lights and does not support dedicated grids or diffusers: for diffused light Profoto recommends its softbox lines. Applications indicated by the manufacturer are beauty head shots and on-location portraiture, with a natural effect and slightly accentuated shadows that make it suitable for fashion photography as well. The convex deflector directs light toward the edge of the dish, while the labeled soft bag simplifies transport between studio and outdoor sets.
