The Sony DVFEL1B is a removable OLED electronic viewfinder designed for use with the Sony Cinema Line FX5 camera. The 0.58″ OLED panel offers a color gamut equivalent to DCI-P3 with 10-bit support and HDR monitoring, allowing you to accurately check composition, focus, and exposure even in bright lighting conditions. The magnification is approximately 0.90x (with a 50 mm lens set to infinity, –1 m⁻¹), and the viewfinder features two display modes, “Standard” and “Zoom Out,” to accommodate different shooting styles, including low-angle and high-angle shots. The vertical tilt mechanism covers a range from 0° to approximately 90°, while the eyepiece cover can be removed and flipped from left to right for comfortable viewing even when wearing glasses. Inside the viewfinder housing, there is a dedicated space for storing the camera’s VF lens cap when it is not in use. The DVFEL1B uses recycled plastics for more than 59% of the main unit’s weight, including Sony’s SORPLAS™ material. This accessory is designed for professionals who use the FX5 in video and film production settings.
