The Blackmagic Fairlight Desktop Audio Editor is the ideal answer for facilities, home studios and color correction workstations that need to finalize audio at very high levels but lack the physical space to install a full modular Fairlight console. Unlike the chassis module, this Desktop version comes in its own pre-assembled, angled metal chassis for perfect ergonomics on the desk.

In addition to the extensive set of hardware controls, this model is distinguished by its exceptional power supply versatility, supporting both the classic AC mains socket and a 4 Pin DC input for possible mobile setups or redundant power supplies. The connection to the DaVinci Resolve workstation is via an ultra-fast Gigabit Ethernet interface, which ensures almost nonexistent latency between turning a potentiometer and actually changing the audio signal in the software.
