The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 4 DANTE (Q1-9) 19″ 4-channel Dante digital receiver is a professional 4-channel UHF digital receiver in a 19″ full rack chassis with integrated power supply and Dante Ethernet connectivity for audio over IP integration. It operates in the Q1-9 band (470.2-550 MHz), offering a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz.

Thanks to Intelligent Switching Diversity technology and equidistant spacing (Standard mode at 600 kHz and Link Density mode at 300 kHz), it supports up to 146 channels in standard mode and 293 channels in LD mode, maintaining intermodulation-free operation.
The audio transmission uses the proprietary SePAC codec, ensuring extremely low latency of 1,9 ms and a dynamic range of 134 dB, without the need for manual gain adjustments. Data security is ensured by AES-256 encryption.

In terms of remote control and monitoring, the device includes the AutoScan function, displays the Link Quality Indicator (LQI), and supports control via the Smart Assist App (Bluetooth BLE up to 25 m), as well as integration with Sennheiser Control Cockpit and Wireless Systems Manager.
Physical connections include four audio outputs (balanced XLR and jack), selective headphone outputs, and four modular network ports (e.g. primary/secondary Dante, control, or combined).
Measuring 48,3 x 4,4 x 37,3 cm, weighing approximately 4,6 kg, and consuming up to 37 W, it is designed for professional applications in live events, broadcasting, and corporate conferences.
