The Sennheiser EW-DX 835-S SET (S2-10) Digital Wireless System is a professional digital UHF wireless system operating in the S2-10 band (614,2–693,8 MHz). The heart of the system is the EW‑DX EM 2 receiver, with two channels and Intelligent Switching Diversity technology for RF stability.
The kit also includes two EW‑DX SKM‑S handheld transmitters, equipped with mute switches and interchangeable MMD 835 dynamic capsules with cardioid polar patterns, renowned for their sound quality similar to that of condenser microphones.

The system offers a switching bandwidth of 88 MHz, a dynamic range of 134 dB and an audio response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Supports up to 146 channels in standard mode (600 kHz spacing) or up to 293 channels in LD mode (increased density, 300 kHz spacing).
Transmission is secure thanks to AES-256 encryption and guarantees ultra-low latency of 1.9 ms thanks to the proprietary SePAC codec. Remote control is possible via the Smart Assist app via Bluetooth LE (up to ~25 m), in addition to network integration with Sennheiser Control Cockpit and Wireless System Manager.
Power is supplied by BA 70 rechargeable batteries with up to 12 hours of autonomy.

The set also includes 2 BNC antennas, XLR and jack audio outputs (balanced/unbalanced), rack mounting kit, microphone clamps, multi-adapter power supply and 2 batteries.
