The Sennheiser XSW-D Digital Wireless System is a plug-and-play digital wireless system operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band, globally compatible without the need for a licence. Thanks to GFSK modulation with TDMA, it guarantees automatic channel allocation and interference management, offering stable transmission up to 75 m in optimal conditions.
The system, available in various formats such as Vocal, Portable Base, Lavalier and Presentation, is designed for simple configuration with a single button—press to turn on and connect, single click to activate mute, hold down to turn off.
The components use integrated Li-Ion batteries, with a typical capacity of 850 mAh, which ensure up to 5 hours of continuous operation and a full recharge in approximately 3 hours via USB‑C.
On the audio front, the frequency response ranges from 80 Hz to 18 kHz, the signal-to-noise ratio is ≥106 dB, total harmonic distortion (THD) is 0.1%, and latency is less than 4 ms, thanks to the aptX Live codec. The maximum audio output reaches 12 dBu.
The system supports up to five XSW‑D devices operating simultaneously, with the option to switch between multiple transmitters connected to a single receiver.
