The Profoto Softbox Strip 1×4’ – white is a professional light modifier designed to provide soft and controlled lighting, ideal for situations requiring directional and precise illumination. Measuring 1×4 feet (about 30×120 cm), this strip-shaped softbox is particularly suitable for portraits, fashion photography, and shots where specific details, such as lines and textures, need to be accentuated without compromising light quality. Its elongated shape allows for a longer, more uniform light, making it ideal for applications such as side lighting or light effects on backgrounds and details. The interior of the softbox is coated with white fabric that optimizes light diffusion, minimizing intensity loss while maintaining natural and balanced color rendering. This results in soft lighting that minimizes the formation of harsh shadows and creates a gradual effect on skin or other surfaces. The structure of the Profoto Softbox Strip 1×4′ is built with sturdy yet lightweight materials, ensuring easy installation and quick setup. Its foldable design makes transport and storage easy, making the softbox practical and versatile for professional photographers. Additionally, its compatibility with all Profoto light heads, as well as other studio lights through appropriate adapters, makes it an essential tool for any photo shoot requiring controlled, high-quality lighting.
