Godox AD1200PRO TTL handheld flash with external power unit

The Godox AD1200PRO TTL handheld flash with external power unit is compatible with the TTL automatic exposure metering system, making it possible to shoot in rapidly changing lighting conditions, both in the studio and outdoors. The set consists of a 1200W flash unit (equivalent to guide number 407 at ISO 100 using the supplied reflector dish), a 5200 mAh external power unit and accessories.

The maximum flash power is 1200 W, with an extremely wide adjustment range of 8 f-stops (1/1 – 1/256) allowing the power to be adapted to almost any subject. The ability to synchronise the flash with high shutter speeds enables the use of wide apertures and shallow depth-of-fields even in bright ambient lighting. The AD1200PRO is also equipped with a built-in X System radio receiver. Thanks to this solution, it is not necessary to connect it to the flesh of other radio receivers, but it is still possible to connect it to triggers of other brands via the 3.5 mm jack input port. It produces flashes with a colour temperature of 5600 K. The standard colour tolerance is +/- 200 K, but the flash can be set to stable colour temperature mode from the lowest tolerance of +/- 75 K. The flash was also equipped with a 40 watt LED modeling light.

The flash is powered by the 5200mAh external rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is equivalent to approximately 500 shots at full power, making it very versatile for use outside the photo studio. Once discharged, the battery can be easily replaced with another one, which allows for unhindered work away from power sources. Additional batteries in the version permitted on board aircraft (2600 mAh) are also available for separate purchase.
